Only a short distance to the restaurant Restauracja Zwierzyniec. Characterful base for a city break in Poznan.

Staff, Location, hotel, room. Quiet central location and helpful staff.
The Hotel is very close to the Trade Center. When an event at the Trade Center is 'on' that area gets busy and noisy. Plus I cannot book a room when that happens.

The guest room we stayed in was elegant with balcony facing the zoo. The staff was helpful, outstandingly accommodating, provided an elegant atmosphere. The location in an exhibition area was unbeatable and there were shopping centres and an old market nearby.

Clean, quiet, relatively cheap, central position, near railway station.

It was a nice hotel which I feel I got for a bargain price. Only 30 euros a night. I didn't see another person in the hotel while I was there. It seemed a bit strange since it was August and I would expect it to be busy. A bit of a walk to the Old Town but manageable.
No breakfast was included and I would avoid buying it there because according to their website it is rather expensive.

How quaint! I almost thought about giving a generous review until i was reminded of the non-functioning shower head, just good when it sprayed the whole bathroom. I expected at least a complimentary gesture, but alas, i was denied. A real pity, honestly.

The location was perfect for exploring Poznań, with great access to the zoo and the city center via tram. The kids loved the zoo.
My wife says that the lighting in the common areas could be improved for a cozier feel.
